The Last Inca Bridge

Although they never invented the wheel or discovered iron, Inca's were the masters of fiber. They skillfully made everything from ships to weapons to bridges out of fiber. They even talked in fiber using a language of knots. The last hand woven Inca grass bridge connecting the two sides of a steep gorge is in Huinchiri, Peru.
