Assemble's Wooden Sky

Assemble is an Australian architecture and design company with a focus on projects with small footprints, aiming at creating low-cost and flexible work-spaces   Their studio, located in the city of Victoria, is a forest of serenity with the modular and movable work surfaces and storage spaces, and a very attractive wooden ceiling structure.  The lighter color of the wood everywhere, makes it impossible to peel your eyes off of this space.

Every piece of furniture is on wheels, allowing the studio to be easily re-arranged for different activities, and the sofa pictured here turns into a bed that is essential for (as Assemble Director Ben Keck puts it) 'productivity-increasing' afternoon naps.
